Mafell P1cc Jig Saw MidiMAX 110V c/w Tilting Base
The P1cc jigsaw comes with a powerful 900W Cuprex motor that delivers constant speed and torque no matter what material you're cutting. Variable speed adjuster is located at the back of the tool and it allows you to choose the right stroke rate for the material being worked. Mafell has designed the completely new blade clamping system to eliminate all the most common issues with the guide system. With the unique wedging action the CUnex blade clamping system grips the blade really secure with no chance of any side to side movement.
Conventional systems rely on side pressure guides that creates extra heat and damage blade - shortening its lifespan. Mafell does not use pressure guides as they require the back of the blade to be machined to exact 90 degrees to work properly but most blades are not made with such accuracy so as soon as the blade rests against the roller the cut goes off at an angle. As the CUnex system grips the blade so securely there is simply no need for any rollers. The parts responsible for pendulum action have been moved higher into the jigsaw body.
P1cc has a selector on the left-hand side that allows you to adjust the amount of pendulum action. Another handy feature is that pendulum action will not start until the blade is being pressed against the material to avoid scratches or unwanted cuts. Changing blades is very easy and is controlled by one lever. The blade will not be just pop off as in many inferior machines but will stay in place until you are ready to remove it. Simply apply a bit of pressure to the side of the blade.
The P1cc comes with a hard wearing die-cast base plate that has been machined for precise operations. The kit offered also includes tilting base for all types an angled cuts up to 45 degrees. The tilting plate is wider than straight angle base to aid stability. Both bases can be used with Mafell Guide rail supplied.
