PROBLEM: Fractured Masonry
(Often found around door and window openings)
SOLUTION: Stainless Steel Helical Bar
Cracking of masonry in old or new buildings can be caused by a number of different issues. Foundations can settle over time, removing support from the wall above.
Thermal/moisture variations can lead to excessive tensile stresses being applied to the materials used to construct the wall.
Even replacing old windows can lead to cracks forming as the support from the old windows is removed while the new one is fitted.
STAINLESS STEEL HELICAL BAR HELIST061000
The stainless steel helical bars are 1000mm long, 6mm diameter and can stitch cracks to reinstate the structural integrity of the wall.
They are inserted into the bed joints are mortared in. (remove old mortar first)
The helical bar can be cut to length to suit and can be bent to be used on corners.
