This ring shank nail with its low oval head and ring shank is used to fix timber components to wood, where high pull-out strength is required. Stainless A4 can withstand all weather conditions and also deal with aggressive environments. Annular Ring Shank Nails made from A2 Marine 326 Grade Stainless Steel can be driven flush or counter-sunk without crushing the surrounding wood. Diamond patterned head blends with wood texture, diffracts sunlight and accepts surface finishes. Annular ring threads resist cupping of cladding boards and prevent nail-head popping. Slender gauge and diamond point prevents splitting. Simpson Strong-Tie Stainless Steel Cladding nails are ideal choice for any project located in coastal area or big city (high level of pollution). Cladding nails can even be used in wood species with corrosive characteristics like cedar wood and green oak.
