TCO offers metal spindles and metal balusters made from a variety of materials, including glass, wood, and metal. Our metal balusters, fabricated by Birkdale or Cheshire Mouldings, are made from rust-resistant mild steel or stainless steel and are built to accommodate upto 100cm handrail height.
Baluster and spindle are nearly identical, although spindle is more commonly used since it is easier to remember and pronounce.
What is the distinction between a baluster and a spindle?
Spindles are supported by a horizontal rail at the bottom that is joined to the posts, whereas balusters typically rest on a footing, such as a step, floor, or deck. Add distinctive accents to your decks with our variety of metal stair parts in combinations with wood.
