A damp-proof membrane (DPM) (1000 gauge) 4 x 25m is a membrane material applied to prevent moisture transmission in buildings.The damp proof membrane (DPM) (1000 gauge) 4 x 25m stops moisture penetration in floors, therefore reducing the risk of damp and rot developing. When using multiple sheets or rolls all joints should be overlapped by at least 150mm and fixed using our specialised double sided butyl tape. Given the job of the DPM 250mu is protecting the building against water from the ground for a lifetime, it is not an area where cost or quality should be sacrificed. At TCO all our damp proof membranes are BBA certified (certificates on request) meaning that it is certified for use in building sites and within the structural foundations of buildings.
