Green Elementech 2000 reduced head 4.5 x 60mm screws for decking are designed to prevent the treated wood boards from splitting whilst installing a deck.

The patented self drilling thread of these screws will save you time on the job since the super sharp point of the screw will immediately bite and drive quickly into the material with no need for a pre-drilled pilot hole. On top of this the thread is also engineered to prevent the wood from splitting when driving near the edge of a timber surface.

The reduced countersunk head of these screws means that they will sit flush with the materials surface resulting in a smooth and dicreet finish.

Treated with an Elementech 2000 finish to improve the corrosion resistance of the screws by up to 3000% compared to zinc plated screws. The treatment has also been proven to withstand more than 2000 hours of testing in coastal construction environment simulations.

Suitable for a range of applications in both softwood and hardwood.

A torx compatible insert means that these screws can be driven in faster and firmer with a reduced chance of a cam out since the the torx drive is specifically designed for use with power tools.

Meets all the requirement for load-bearing timber construction as outlined in the European health, safety and environmental protection requirements.
