The patented self drilling thread of these screws will save you time on the job since the super sharp point of the screw will immediately bite and drive quickly into the material with no need for a pre-drilled pilot hole. On top of this the thread is also engineered to prevent the wood from splitting when driving near the edge of a timber surface.The wafer head of these screws means that the clamping force from the screw is spread over a larger surface area which both reduces the chance of damage to the materials surface and improves the holding power of the screw.Treated with an Elementech 2000 finish to improve the corrosion resistance of the screws by up to 3000% compared to zinc plated screws.
