Tuffreel High Performance Radon Gas Membrane Barrier

  • The Tuffreel Radon Gas membrane is similar to conventional ground damp proof membranes, in that it protects the building against the ingress of moisture from the ground.
  • So, you get an extremely robust membrane, resistant to puncture during and after installation.
  • AND, the radon barrier is impermeable to radon, carbon monoxide C02 and methane, protecting occupants from harmful and dangerous gasses for the lifetime of the slab they are installed.
  • Applications include ground-bearing concrete floors or on suspended concrete or beam and block floors.
  • For lapping and jointing, Tuffreel recommends an overlap of at least 150mm and sealing with our double sided butyl tape.
